Take a break from the busyness of college life and spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We offer Eucharistic Adoration about once a month. Check our Calendar for upcoming dates and come spend some quiet time with the Lord.

Eucharistic Adoration is a time to be with Jesus.

Catholics believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. During Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament is placed in a special vessel called a monstrance so that people can spend time praying quietly in His presence.

There are no special words or prayers you have to say. Many people simply sit quietly, pray, read Scripture, reflect on their lives, or talk to Jesus from their hearts.

Adoration is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, experience God’s peace, and grow closer to Christ.

What Should I Do During Adoration?

There is no “right” way to pray during Adoration. You might:

 

• • Sit quietly in God’s presence.

• • Thank God for His blessings.

• • Read a passage from the Bible.

• • Pray the Rosary.

• • Talk to Jesus about what’s on your heart.

• • Pray for your family, friends, or those in need.

• • Simply enjoy a few moments of silence.

Do I Have to Be Catholic?

No. Everyone is welcome to come and spend time in the chapel. Whether you’re Catholic, another Christian, or simply curious, you’re invited to experience this peaceful time of prayer and reflection.
